Welcome to Teaching with Nancy!

Use this 7 page pumpkin life cycle booklet to give your students an opportunity to write their own non-fiction pumpkin book. Each page contains a black and white drawing of a part of the life cycle of a pumpkin. Have students color and label the picture appropriately. Then, ask students to write a factual sentence about what the picture represents as it relates to the pumpkin’s life cycle. A vocabulary word bank is included to support students in the use of scientific vocabulary.
