How many times as a teacher have you heard, “I raised my hand and I didn’t get a turn?” At a conference I attended earlier this year, there were large screens that streamed tweets that had the conference’s hashtag. The other day I had an idea for using it in the classroom. There are many schools that have 1:1 devices or BYOD. I thought it would be neat to ask the class to tweet something they learned or an aha moment they had during the lesson to a teacher specified hashtag. The teacher can then project them using Visible Tweet. This allows everyone to actively participate and all responsible are quickly visible to everyone. It also creates a digital record of their learning.
It is so easy to use, it doesn’t even require you to log in. Here is the link so you can check it out.
